Magical Years: Memories & Sketches, is a collection of 43 reed and pen and ink drawings inspired by her childhood in Cebu, a historic city in the central islands of the Philippines. This is a special limited edition book of sketches by Filipino novelist Cecilia Manguerra Brainard. There are only 100 signed and numbered hardbound copies of this book. She is the author of three novels, and has written and edited numerous other books but this is her first art book. Despite her new found love, she continues to write.
