This book is mainly about the many variations there are in making Filipino Lumpia. Lumpia is taken from the Chinese Spring Roll, but cleverly adapted for Filipino tastes. Many options are available for both the wrappers, and the contents. These can be anything you fancy - pork, chicken, beef, fish, or make them vegetarian. Recipes for accompanying sauces are included. Lumpia are typically 3-4 inches long, and about 3/4 inch in diameter, but you can easily make them in much larger sizes. Once you have followed a few recipes you can adapt the ingredients to suit yourself. You are really only governed by your own imagination.
