From the Igorots of Northern Luzon to the Moslems of Mindanao, music plays a big part of everyday life in the Philippines. KPME's mission is to keep this tradition alive for the next generation of Pilipino-Americans growing up here in the United States. Whether it be teaching or performing, KPME hopes to spread the appreciation of our beautiful musical culture to those far away from the homeland.
