Fr. Tullio Favali's Death Anniversary will be cele-brated on April 11 both in the place of his martyrdom and in other parts of the world. His death should not be in vain. He is one of the many victims of the Marcos dictatorship, especially among church people. 

By now Marcos has been replaced by the new President Corazon Aquino who has pledged to restore justice and freedom to this martyred country. But many local oppressors are still in power. Abusive military and paramilitary units, particularly fanatical groups and notorious killers are still controlling many areas. Fear still dominates in many places.
