This drama-murder story is a work of fiction. Since the author is a professor at the time of this writing, she wants it clearly understood that the five faculty members who are the characters in this story, and who are all clamoring to be tenured are all fictional. The story gives you an idea of how the lives of people intersect with each other and how their common dreams end up in different places and circumstances most of the time. Read the story and see what happened to the five faculty members who originally had sought tenure: Dr Don Duffy, Dr Nancy Bowen, Dr Matt O'Shea, Dr Joe Scott and Dr Julie Galang. If you are in the academe, you would find some situations familiar, some scenes so factual and your experiences are probably similar to some of those experienced by these characters. Enjoy the book!
