This book of poems is certainly like a cluster of blooming flowers despite the fact that Asst. City Fiscal Agustin T. Misola, a novelist, has no formal training in the art of writing verse.  

VIRGIN has been used by the poet to describe his poems: firstly, because they are his first attempts to express himself in poetry; and secondly, because they have not been read by others.

BLOOMING, however, is used in this foreward because the poet's ROSES are radiantly, tenderly, and modestly beautiful -- most of them, to be sure.  In fine, Attorney Misola's free verse is in full bloom, being the product of a mature mind.
