Purely written in Filipino, this book covers 4 traditional music from the town of Bawan, Batangas in the Philippines. The chapters include a background on traditional music of Bauan; the "Huluna," which consists of lullabies for children; songs with music scores; "Pabasa," which narrates the passion of Christ during Lent, a Philippine tradition; and finally, "Subli," which is a dance dedicated to God in thanksgiving for favors received.
