He has been a full time faculty member at the Univeristy of Southern California, Wichita State University, the University of Maryland, the College of the Bahamas, and Broward Community College where he is currently Senior Professor of English. Although Dr. Grow has published in the history of scholarship in philosophy, 18th and 19th century British literature, 20th century American literature, and creative writing, his exclusive focus for the past quarter of a century has been on modern Philippine literature in English.
