Dagli is a narrative, popular more especially during the initial decade of American colonialism in the Philippines. Short and hastily composed, dagli can be symptomatic not only of the narrative form but also of cementing the reality of American conquest of our nation. This book attempts to give appropriate importance to a narrative form that has been forgotten, if not overtaken by moss, in Philippine literary history.
A Philippine import. Limited copies available.
