He has published and co-edited books on local history and literary anthologies. Notable among them are The Revolution in Aklan, Engkant(aw)o at iba pang Maikling Kuwento, Selebrasyon at Lamentasyon:Antolohiya ng Maikling Kuwento sa Panay, and Bigkas Binalaybay: Kritisismo at Antolohiya. His poems, play, and short stories have been published in anthologies and journals such as Ani, Patubas, Mantla, SanAg and Kuwentong Siyudad. He has co-edited two anthologies namely Selebrasyon at Lamentasyon: Antolohiya ng mga Maikling Kuwento sa Panay and Bigkas Binalaybay: Kritisismo at Antolohiya. He is teaching Filipino at the University of the Philippines Visayas and is currently part-time Commissioner of the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino.
